Trio introduces commemorative Star Carbon helmets
Are you in the market for a new helmet but wanting something a
bit…different?
Bell Helmets has partnered with the Circuit of The Americas to create a
commemorative helmet that pays homage to the Lone Star State and 2014 Red Bull
MotoGP of The Americas. The special edition helmet gets custom artwork from
Chris Wood, founder and creative director of Airtrix, a California-based company
that specializes in custom helmet paint.

More specifically, this custom Star Carbon helmet gets American and State of
Texas flags on the side, in addition to a Longhorn cattle skull with hardwood
design in the vein of “the floorboards in a Western saloon,” Bell says. The
helmet screams, “Texas,” but also pays homage to the Circuit of The Americas and
the 2014 MotoGP event by way of a COTA logo and event logo for the 2014 Red Bull
MotoGP of The Americas.
Bell Helmets’ Texas-themed Star Carbon helmet will be produced in limited
numbers and will be available for purchase until April 13, 2014. The helmet will
cost $699.95.
