I can see how this app can help me in my career.
by AshleyPilar75
I'm actually new to the app, I've actually owned the app for a while now ,
but never really dug into enough to see If it could help me N any way . So I
recently had some time off work (a couple months ) and was considering changing
careers . So I first just started following companies that I've worked for and
also companies I wanted to work for . One of the companies was BNSF RAILROAD. So
I manage to get them a resume' and then an interview , and last week I finished
the last part of the pre-employment requirements .. So wish me luck cause once I
get the clear to start , I'll be working for them April 7th .. Thanks again . I
see how this all could be beneficial for me
Limited functionality

The phone app has the unsolicited ads from the web-based app, but doesn't
allow flagging all the annoying inappropriate social media marketing posts, or
the group management functions such as processing group requests to join or
moderation flags. Basically, you can post and reply, and read ads and
updates.
As another reviewer commented, LinkedIn also solicits skill
"endorsements" on your behalf from your contacts, even when they make no sense
or the contact has no knowledge of your skill in that area. No way to prevent
these, or delete them, but they make it look like you are soliciting the
endorsement yourself. Can't imagine what LinkedIn is thinking with this
"feature", other that just generating activity. Meaningless and intrusive.
Always could be more

If you haven't heard of linked in, please consider this a 5-star review;
linkedin is an amazing way to network and keep professionally social. However,
as other reviews have mentioned, there's still some functionality I'd like to
see built into the mobile app. Mainly updating and managing my profile through
the phone, and also to save drafts in my linkedin mail replies. I'd love to see
some innovation on the way you share information as well, like airdrop or bump
functionality, or a proximity search for professionals in your industry
